The examination consists of 2 parts:

I. The written examination:

1. Comprehension, usually an account of the document in FRENCH (‘compte-rendu’). 10 points.
2. Expression : a total of  about 250 words. 10 points.

II  The oral examination.(Unknown text + interview.) 20 mins. to prepare the document + 20 mins. interview.

 The written exam = 2/3 of the total, and the oral = 1/3 of the total points.

Expression : There are usually at least 2 questions, about the text and/ or a more general subject. You will need to express 

YOUR OWN IDEAS IN ENGLISH. You must not copy the text.

1. Read the question carefully and underline the key ideas.
2. Make a plan: Organize your ideas, vocabulary and connectors (links: because, so, but …).
3. Write your answer to the question, be precise and logical. Personalize when possible.
